Most migrants entering the UK via family reunification are from the EU or South Asia

Data were taken from the 2014 wave of the International Passenger Survey. The first chart (below) displays the distribution of origin countries for migrants entering the UK via family reunification, separately for gross immigrants and net migrants. (British migrants were removed from the data.) India, Poland and Pakistan are the three most common countries of origin.

The second chart (below) displays the distribution of origin regions for migrants entering the UK via family reunification, separately for gross immigrants and net migrants. (British migrants were again removed from the data.) The EU and South Asia are the two most common regions of origin.
